# Choose your first AI pilot

AI training for executives and leaders deciding where to use AI. In this nontechnical session, we assess a proposed use case: what the demo shows, what it leaves unanswered, and what a first pilot would need to test.

## Assess the tasks your team has in mind

We compare two or three tasks your team is considering, looking at who would use AI, what information it would need, what could go wrong and who would catch the error. The workshop produces a use-case shortlist and a pilot worksheet covering the task, intended user, current process, proposed AI role, information allowed or excluded, owner, human review, success evidence, likely failure, stop condition, and next decision date.

## Practise with a fictional use case

A fictional training team uses an AI-generated presentation and a Q&A assistant. You decide what information it can use, when it should hand over to a person, and how a wrong answer gets corrected. The exercise uses no confidential information.

We agree the audience, decision context, examples, tools and topics to exclude, group size and accessibility needs before the session. A short session does not produce a complete AI strategy or governance programme, certify compliance, or replace security, privacy, legal, and specialist reviews.
